Club Meetings and New Meeting Home!
Meeting attendance is a problem, and
everyone present at the last meeting agreed that we need to do
something to encourage all members to attend. It is difficult,
if not impossible to get much done when we only have the
officers and 4-5 others present. Discussion ensued about a
permanent meeting place and a motion was made to use the
Yankee Doodle’s banquet room for our meetings. It was
seconded and the Yea’s had it. Meetings will now be at the same
place each month. Board meetings are every 3rd
Thursday of the month, 6 PM the general meetings are at 6:30PM.
Please put the attached meeting schedule
on your fridge!

Report of Summer Activities
Updated 9/28/2007
TOR would like to thank
all the members and the local community that helped out with the
4th Annual Car & Air Show at the Alpine Airpark in Alpine,
Wyoming on Aug 24th, 25th and 26th.
Special thanks to Tiphany Gayhart, the chairwomen of the event.
It was a lot of work and she did a great job coordinating and
making everything fall into place! This was by far the club’s
most successful event featuring over 30 airplanes and 115 cars
in the show. From what we could estimate, we had over 1500
spectators show up and all the food vendors sold out. The Air
Show that Alpine Airpark put on was over the top. We look
forward to working with Alpine Airpark for years to come!
TOR did well putting on
the Car and Air show and here are the local charities the club
is supporting.
Alpine Fire Department
$500.00
Alpine EMS $500.00
Star Valley Humane Society $500.00
Star Valley Search & Rescue $500.00
American Legion Ball Field in Alpine $500.00
The Top of the Rockies
has reorganized the membership fees and has established a new
coverage period of Aug 1 through June 30. The Top of the Rockies
greatly appreciates and needs your support. Therefore, we are
asking that you continue your support of the Top of the Rockies
Snowmobiling Club by filling out
the membership application form and sending in the dues
applicable to you and/or your family. We are, of course, always
looking for new members. If you know folks who would like to
meet and/or ride with fellow riders or simply support the club
and the sport of riding snowmobiles, please encourage them to
join. Again we greatly appreciate your support.
The 2007-2008 calendar of
events will be coming soon and we are taking suggestions on what
club events and rides we would like to do.

email address for our E-newsletter and other member
communications. Please call 307-690-5681 or email
