Top of the Rockies By-Laws
Article I, DEFINITION AND OBJECTIVES,
This club was organized with the intent to bring people
together with similar interests, to raise money for community projects in
these same interests and to support family orientate activities.
Article II, MEMBERSHIP,
The membership to this club is open to everyone that pays their
annual dues. A membership can be revoked by a majority vote of
the board if said member participates in conduct or takes an
action that negatively affects the image of Top of the Rockies
Snowmobile Club.
Article III, GOVERNING BODY,
The business of the club will be managed by the four board
member positions as follows: president, vice president,
treasurer and secretary. These positions will be elected and/or
appointed voluntary positions with no compensation paid.
Article IV, OFFICERS AND ELECTIONS,
The elected positions will be the president, vice president and
secretary and treasurer. These officers will serve one year
terms, but can continue if the position if no one else is
interesting in serving.
Article V, SPECIAL COMMITTEES,
Special committee chairpersons shall be appointed by the
president with board approval.
Article VI, MEETINGS,
The organization will hold one annual meeting per year where all
officers positions will be elected. This meeting will be held at
the Bull Moose Saloon.
Article VII, CALENDAR YEAR AND DUES,
This organization will run on a calendar year. The dues for
membership will be determined by the membership at the annual
meeting.
Article VIII, AMENDMENTS,
The Top of the Rockies Snowmobile Club By laws may be amended at
the annual meeting by a two thirds (2/3) majority vote of those
members present. When so passed, they immediately become a part
of the By laws.
Article IX, DISPOSAL OF FUNDS,
In the event that this organization is dissolved, the treasurer
will, after paying all legitimate expenses, disburse the
remaining funds to Star Valley Search & Rescue. |
